1. Nepal is the birthplace of “Sakyamuni-Gautam Budhha”, also known as ‘light of Asia‘.
2. Ashoka pillar– the oldest inscription in Nepal commemorates  the visit of Emperor Ashoka to Budhha’s birthplace in 3rd centuryBC.
